In the developed country – The USA, welding have been considered as “the lifeline of manufacturing industry, and the key in the future competition”.  The main root is based on the fact that many industry products manufacturing cannot leave welding technology. Welding steel structure likes human skeleton, it is body frame for many machines.

Take the project of diverting gas from the western to the eastern for example, the whole length of gas pipe is 4300km, the number of welding joint are more than 350,000, the total length of welding seam at least is 150,000meters. To fabricate this huge steel structure, it is hard to imagine how to finish this project without welding.
