5.Specification of Ball Connecting Column:
5.1 Specifications for ball-connected columns:

（1)  The main models are: WHE/1, WHE/2 and WHE/3.

（2）The number of crossbars is mainly 1, 2 and 3.

（3）The height is mainly 1.017 meters, 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters， three types.

（4）The diameter of the ball is mainly 66 mm 70mm, 76mm and 85mm.

（5） The diameter of column steel pipe is mainly 48mm, 51mm, 42.3mm and 38.1mm.

（6） The diameter of armrest steel pipe is mainly 48mm, 51mm, 42.3mm and 38.1mm.

（7） The diameter of transverse steel tube is 42.3 mm, 51.0 mm, 26.8 mm and 32.0 mm.

5.2 Installation Dimensions of Ball-connection railing
（1）Column spacing: They are mainly 1000,1200,1500mm.
（2）Column height: If it is double columns, horizontal railing, the minimum height of the handrail of the horizontal rail is 1100 mm, inclined railings on stairs, the minimum vertical height of the handrails is 900 mm. If there are three bars, the height of the bars is usually 1200 mm. If it is single columns or more than three columns, it should be according to the design.

（3）Connection method of cross bar and column:

Generally, the connection is by welding, and the weld seam is treated with local rust-proof treatment. The connection also can be screw or pin to fix it, but the installation holes need to be drilled on site.

5.3 Material: Normally it is made of mild carbon steel Q235B, also can be stainless steel.

5.4 Surface treatment. Hot-dip galvanizing, or shot blasting, painting.

5.5 Fabrication process: cutting, punching, welding, surface treatment and other major technological means.
